Logistics:

Participant's responsibility
  • To be prepared and confident in his/her ability to cope with the mental and physical challenge required in this event.
  • To report to the event with an escort vehicle driven by two drivers and equipped with a warning orange flash light 
  • To organize all food and water consumption to be used throughout the event.
  • To arrange accommodation for himself (see below for accommodation)
  • To arrive with all the necessary equipment for a long triathlon event, which is spread over three days, from the swimming equipment, through bicycles, wheels, tires, etc. to running equipment including a bag / water belt.
  • To accept the authority of the Director, to agree in advance to changes in the track in light of unplanned events such as weather or security events.
  • Respect and stick to the schedule dictated by the organizers.
  • To report on the evening of the competition in the CHECK IN, register, receive a participant kit and participate in the Director's briefing.

    Responsibility of the organizers
    • Planning the routes and obtaining the appropriate permits for their use.
    • Contact and activate the sponsors before and during the event.
    • Establishment and operation of the competition complexes, start-up areas, completion and stations on the way.
    • Maintain continuous contact with security, rescue and evacuation officials throughout the competition.
    • Coordination and acceptance of a "vacation package" at the accommodation sites recommended by the organizers.
    • Control of swimming and accompaniment.
    • Control and timing of the escorts during riding.
    • Control and follow-up of participants during riding and running.
    • Operation of a mobile repair vehicle for riders.
    • Cancellation of competition or change of route in cases of extreme security or weather events.

    Escort:
    • Each participant will be accompanied by a personal escort vehicle as described in the section "Participant's Liability".
    • The escort vehicle must follow the instructions of the organizers listed in the regulations.
    Equipment: 

    Swimming:
    • The obligation to wear a swimming hat that will be provided by the organizers throughout the entire swimming course.
    • The obligation to swim with a personal buoy attached to the belt or to the swimmer's leg and in an inflated condition.
    • Full swimming suits are permitted.
    • The swimmers will be accompanied by non-motorized Kayaks and sups. The nutrition will be found on the boats.
    Bicycle:
    • The personal escort vehicle will be equipped with food and water and all other supplies needed by the rider such as tubes, tires, spare wheels, pump, etc 
    • Accompanying equipment - Must be equipped with a back flasher, front flasher, white front headlight and a bright vest for each pair of bicycles
    • The rider must ride with the participant number.
    Running:
    •  Each runner will be equipped with the following details:
    • Hat. 
    • Backpack / Water Belt.
    • Number of participants is directed to the front.
    • Head lamp
    • Red rear flash light
    • "Emergency food".
    • Cell Phone
    •  The runner can be accompanied by another runner or a field-bike rider. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the running way.
    Lodging:

    The Ultraman Israel event is spread over 6 days. Monday - 15/11/2021 is the day of gathering and final preparations at the Karei Deshe Youth Hostel.
    • On Tuesday, November 16th, the cycling course ends south side of Beit She'an. Race hotel will be at  Beit Alfa Hotel.
    • On Wednesday, November 17th, the long cycling course ends at Kibbutz Yahel in the Arava.
    • On the 18th of November the Ultramarathon ends on the sea shore of the city of Eilat, east of the promenade.
    • Friday and Saturday - 19 - 20/11 - Ceremony and weekend for recovery in Hevel Eilot regionl council territory.

    Technical maintenance

    The production will provide technical support and maintenance to participants throughout the event.
    The production technical vehicles will accompany the event from the Monday prior to the start until the end of the ride in Kibbutz Yahel.

    Health certificates, participant insurance, waiver and liability letter!

    All registered participants must submit the following documents to the production:
    • A health certificate approved by a sports doctor, valid for the date of the event.
    • Accident insurance certificate covering participation in extreme sports event.
    • A letter of authorization to release the organizers from liability in the event of an accident / injury throughout the event. (Will be sent for signature below).
    • Covid 19 vaccine approval - "Tav Yarok"
